Under the benign leadership of Martin Hopcroft (drums), The DSO has built a solid and enviable reputation as one of the most exciting bands in the UK, giving British audiences the rare chance to experience the music of Steely Dan live, in local venues, at affordable prices, and guaranteed to go home totally contented!

        The band is a close knit group of friends with a common goal. The musicianship is outstanding and, most importantly, the band has an enthusiasm which makes a DSO gig a night to remember! The DSO remains true to the spirit of Fagen & Becker's music, and endeavours to recreate this the coolest music on the planet for Dan Fans and the uninitiated everywhere.
